Introduction

Revelation, the final book of the Christian Bible, records a vision given to the Apostle John. This summary, following Jim’s approach, seeks to present its essential meaning with limited surface explanation, while providing links for deeper study. I titled it Unredacted because, as governments conceal restricted information, the Lord has likewise sealed the Bible’s inner meaning. Revelation 5 pictures a scroll sealed with seven seals, written inside and on the back, suggesting both outer and inner meanings. As 1 Corinthians 2:14 says, spiritual things are discerned only by the Spirit. Revelation was intended to be unsealed in time, and that time has now come at the end of the age.

Revelation’s scriptures appear in black and my commentary in red. This work explores Revelation’s deeper meanings, which Jesus unsealed through Charles Russell. Beginning in 1878, Russell taught that 1914 would mark the start of Armageddon; when World War I began, many saw it that way. I believe the Lord used this beforehand witness to fulfill Isaiah 42:9 and John 13:19: declaring events before they occur so believers may recognize His work.

What Scripture Sounds like and What it Means can be Quite Different

The trumpets resemble the plagues of Revelation 16 and sound ominous, but their purpose is not to harm. Revelation 9:20 shows that the trumpets are plagues, intended to reveal God’s name to His adversaries, as in Isaiah 64:1-3. Like ancient trumpets warning of danger, they point to the real danger in the world—not from God, but from the Devil.

God makes His name known by revealing His plan: Jesus, His Son, will redeem all humanity from death through His blood. This truth warns against the Devil, whom the world follows as its god, and overturns false teachings about the Gospel. Though painful to receive, like the destructive sound of the trumpets, its final result is good: the converted die to self, while the unrepentant remain under the plagues. As Jesus said, “Whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it” Luke 9:24; and those in Christ have “crucified the flesh with its passions and desires” Galatians 5:24.

This principle appears in Luke 6:35: “Love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return… for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.” Likewise, Romans 12:20-21, citing Proverbs 25:21-22, teaches us to feed our enemy, give him drink, and “overcome evil with good.” These teachings are rarely emphasized in most churches.

The seven trumpets and plagues also recall Joshua’s march around Jericho (Joshua 6). Similarly, in Luke 19:12-14, Jesus speaks of a nobleman who leaves to receive a kingdom, commands his servants to “Occupy till I come,” and is rejected by his citizens. In Revelation, the trumpets and plagues deliver truth that ultimately breaks down resistance to God’s message for all mankind.

I have tried to keep the commentary brief and clear. This document is about 41 pages and 21,310 words; Revelation itself takes 27 pages and 11,500 words.

Throughout this commentary I use the Berean Standard Bible, which I prefer to call by its original name, the Berean Study Bible; most Bible links point to it.

One of the things that I try to do in my interpretation of both the 7 trumpets and 7 last plagues in Revelation is to be consistent in our interpretation of its symbols, so I will endeavor to lay down what the symbol is and what I believe is meant by their usage: Please See: Glossary of Terms. With that said let us begin…

Revelation Chapter One

Revelation 1:1 This is the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants things about what must soon come to pass. He God made it known by sending His angel →Jesus← to His servant John, 2who testifies to everything he saw. This is the word of God according to the testimony of Jesus Christ. →[Given to you via the apostle John or another one of Jesus' seven messengers.]← 3Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy and blessed are those who hear and obey what is written in it, because the time is at hand.

John Greets the Seven Churches

Revelation 1:4 John, To the seven churches in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you from Him who is and was and is to come →[without beginning or end]← and from the seven spirits before His throne, 5and from Jesus Christ, his faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and has released us from our sins by His blood, 6who has made us Christians to be a kingdom of priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and power forever and ever! Amen.

7Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will eventually see Him, even those who pierced Him →[Requiring the resurrection of the dead.]← And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of →[what they have done to]← Him →[and his faithful followers.]← So shall it be! Amen.

8“I Jesus am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God →[of me, it is He]← who is and was and is to come—the Almighty. →[Who exists throughout eternity without beginning or end.

John’s Vision on Patmos

9I, John, am your brother and partner in tribulation and kingdom and perseverance that are in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and my testimony about Jesus. 10I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me →[from the past]← a loud voice like a trumpet →[The trumpeter is Jesus]← 11saying, “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.”

12Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. Revelation Chapter Two Overview

Each church receives a tailored message: some are commended for endurance, while others are urged to repent and return to their first devotion. Together, the messages stress faithfulness, perseverance, and vigilance.

The seven church stages, seals, and trumpets appear to cover the same periods, each divided into four and three. In the seals, the first four involve the living beings of Revelation 6, while the final three give more detail without mentioning them. The trumpets follow the same pattern, as shown in Revelation 8:13, where the last three are called “Woe, woe, woe.”

Some view the one who gives “meat in due season” in Matthew 24:45 and Luke 12:42 as a class rather than an individual, perhaps extending the “Marriage Supper” to those who remain. Yet it can also be argued that the Lord ultimately chooses one person to begin a movement. Revelation 10:7 says that when the seventh angel “he” is about to sound, the mystery of God is finished—not when “they” begin to sound. Likewise, each church seems to receive its appointed message through a chosen messenger, delivering “meat in due season” where it would have the greatest impact, often near the center of Christian imperial power.

Revelation Chapter Two First Church

Revelation 2:1 “To the angel →[Apostle Paul]← of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of Him who holds the seven stars in His right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands. →[Jesus gave this message directly to Paul before giving it to the apostle John on Patmos.]← 2 I know your deeds, your labor, and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate those who are evil, and you have tested and exposed as liars those who falsely claim to be apostles. 3Without growing weary, you have persevered and endured many things for the sake of My name.

4But I have this against you: You have abandoned your first love →by thinking that you can be justified by the Mosaic Law.← 5Therefore, keep in mind how far you have fallen. Repent and perform the deeds you began with. But if you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

6But you have this to your credit: You hate the →proud and boastful← works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches →given to you via Apostles Paul and John.← To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to eat from the tree of life in the Paradise of God.

10Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil →in the form of Diocletian← is about to throw some of you into prison to test you, and you will suffer tribulation for ten days. →10 Years from 303-313 when Rome tried to get rid of Christianity.← Be faithful even unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.

33–286 AD = 253 years to the second messenger, and 286–539 = 253 years to the third messenger. This works if the second stage begins in 286, when Arius was 30—the age a man could become a priest (Numbers 4:30)—making the first two church stages each 253 years. The number 253 is notable: it is a semiprime (11 × 23), the 22nd triangular number, a star number, and a centered heptagonal number. In the Star of David pattern, the center can picture Jesus, surrounded by six resurrected messengers at His 1874 return—three before Him and three after—as suggested by Ezekiel 9 and Revelation 14:6.

19I know your deeds—your love, your faith, your service, your perseverance—and your latest deeds are greater than your first. 20But I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel →[The Catholic Church]← who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads My servants to be sexually immoral and to eat →[the teachings of Church State Union]← food sacrificed to Papacy’s idols. 21Even though I am giving her time →[360 years to repent of her immorality, from 1157 the start of Waldo’s message to 1517 the start of Luther’s message]← I know that she is unwilling.

Revelation Chapter Three → Fifth Church

I know that you have only a little strength, yet you have kept My word and have not denied My name. 9As for those who belong to the synagogue of Satan →[The Catholic Church]← who claim to be Christian Jews but are liars, I will make them come and bow down at your feet, and they will know that I have loved you.

10Because you have kept My command to persevere, I will also keep you from the hour of trial →[when everyone will be judged according to their works instead of their faith]← that is about to come upon the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. 11I am coming soon. Revelation Chapter Five → The 7 Sealed Scroll

Revelation 5:1 Then I saw a scroll in the right hand of the One seated on the throne. It had writing on both sides →[Having an inner meaning and an outer or surface meaning]← Its →[Inner meaning]← was sealed with seven seals. 2And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll. →[So that we can see what the inner meaning is.

3But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look inside it. 4And I began to weep bitterly, because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or even look inside it. 5Then one of the elders Moses said to me, “Do not weep! Behold Jesus the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed →[Over the world, the flesh and the Devil]← to open the scroll and loose its seven seals.”

6Then I saw a Lamb who appeared to have been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes →[Fascinating to be able to look into their writings]← which represent the seven spirits of God sent →[Via the 7 messengers]← out into all the earth. 7 And He came and took the scroll from the right hand of the →[Ancient of Days]← seated on the throne.

8When He Jesus had taken the scroll; the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb →[acknowledging that he is the one they had spoken about in all their prophecies.← Each one had a harp →[Upon which the 144,000 play and sing]← and they were holding golden bowls →[24 books of the Old Testament]← full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9And they sang a new song: “Worthy are You to take the scroll and open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood You purchased for God those from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. 10You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign upon the earth.”

11Then I looked, and I heard the voices of many angels encircling the throne →[Daniel 7:10]← and the living creatures and the elders. Revelation Chapter Six → Unsealing the 7 Sealed Scroll

[[["And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals:" [This refers back to the Bible sealed with 7 seals. Isaiah 29:11-14 and Daniel 12:4. The idea is that the scroll's seals prevent its full meaning from being understood until all seven are broken. The unsealing process spans the entire Gospel age. Three Views of the Gospel Age

The thought is that until the 7 seals were broken from the scroll/book, it was not possible to figure out who the messengers were. Now that the seals have been broken, the Lord has given us, living during the harvest period of the age, the ability to study history and figure out who the messengers were that blew the trumpets, provided we do ask, seek and knock. Luke 11:9 “And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”]]]

But according to Rev 22:11 this is not what the Lord wants us to do.

4 Then another horse went forth. It was bright red, and its rider →the antichrist← was granted permission to take away peace from the earth and to make Christian men slay one another. And he was given a great Civil sword →[of Roman civil Power given by Constantine.

NOTE: [[[This unholy Church-State union led Christians to kill other Christians with the “sword of the state” (Revelation 6:4), beginning with the Donatists in 314 and continuing for 1,600 years. Revelation 14:20 and Daniel 11:27 describe this “damage” as 1,600 stadia, also picturing a biblical trial period squared: 40 × 40 = 1,600 years. This period began on August 1, 314, at the Council of Arles, and ended exactly 1,600 years later on August 1, 1914, when World War I began with Germany’s declaration of war on Russia. This timing also aligns with the Jewish 9th of Av, the date associated with the destruction of both Jewish temples, and marks the beginning of Christendom’s imperial destruction.]]]

This is the beginning of the 1260 years of famine and persecution.

Note: this is the end of the 4th division with 3 seals left, making the division of 4 & 3 consistent with all 3 views of the church. We no longer see the Cherubim Representing God saying, “come”.

Revelation 6:9 And when the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain →[Dead in Christ]← for the word of God and for the testimony they had upheld. 10And they cried out in a loud voice, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge those who dwell upon the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe →[as the world was then beginning to see that those whom the Papacy was killing were really good Christians and those ruling the established church were not so much]← And they were told to rest a little time longer until the full number →The 144,000← of their fellow servants, their brothers, were killed, just as they had been killed. →[Note: from the end of the 5th seal in 1517 to the resurrection of the church in 1874-78 is about 360 years=a time.

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days: 'The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.'

Revelation Chapter Seven → The 144,000

Revelation 7:1 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four →[doctrinal winds which had started the French Revolution]← so that the wind would stop blowing on the land, sea or on any tree or upright person. 2And I saw another angel Jesus ascending from the east →[beginning to enlighten the world with understanding]← and he had with him the seal of the living God. And he called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given →[Religious, Political, Social, and Economic]← power to harm the land and the sea: 3saying “Do not harm the land or sea or trees until we have placed a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”

4And I heard the number of those who were sealed, 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel:

5From the tribe of Judah 12,000, from the tribe of Reuben 12,000, from the tribe of Gad 12,000,

6 rom the tribe of Asher 12,000, from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000, from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000,

7from the tribe of Simeon 12,000, from the tribe of Levi 12,000, from the tribe of Issachar 12,000,

8from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000, from the tribe of Joseph 12,000, and from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000. →[Notice the tribe of Dan is missing, and replaced by Joseph son Manasseh.

Revelation 7:9 After this I looked and saw a multitude too large to count →later the number is given to us as →{200,000,000}← from every nation and tribe and people and tongue, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands. 10And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11And all the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. And they fell facedown before the throne and worshiped God, 12saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”

13Then one of the elders addressed me: “These in white robes,” he asked, “who are they, and where have they come from?” 14“Sir,” I answered, “you know.” So, he replied, “These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15For this reason, they are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in His temple; and the One seated on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them.

16‘Never again will they hunger, and never will they thirst; nor will the sun beat down upon them, nor any scorching heat.’ 17For the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd. ‘He will lead them to springs of living water,’ and ‘God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’

Revelation Chapter Eight → The Seventh Seal

Revelation 8:1 When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour →[1000/24 = about 40 = 1874 to 1914]← as people slept on through the 40 years of harvest not understanding that it was the 3rd watch of the night].← 2And →[After reading the scroll which had been sealed]← I saw the seven angels who stood before God →[which had delivered the messages to the seven churches]← and they were →[now seen as having been]← given seven trumpets. 3Then another angel Jesus who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, along with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne. 4And the smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, rose up before God from the hand of the angel →[as he entered the most holy to offer the atonement day sacrifice of the Church.

5Then the angel Jesus took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it to the earth; and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake →[Increases of knowledge leading to World War One.

Revelation Chapter Eight → The First Four Trumpets

Revelation 8:6 And the seven angels with the seven trumpets prepared to sound them. →Flashing back to the beginning of the Gospel Age where we see the same messages of the seven angels to the churches now being viewed as trumpets from the institutional churches' watchtower. Being seen outwardly as a negative thing by the established institutions. In reality its purpose is to show the spread of true Christianity which the institutional churches do not appreciate.

Revelation 8:7 Then the first angel →[The Apostle Paul]← sounded his trumpet, and hail →[Solid truth]← and fire →[Judgments against Israel was]← mixed with →[the saving]← blood →[of Jesus]← was hurled down upon the →[Jewish society of]← earth. And a third of the earth →[Those seeking the truth about the Messiah]← was burned up →[Being converted from Judaism to Christianity]← along with a third of the trees →[Many leaders of the Synagogues]← and all the green grass →[Whom the Lord had called and had any common sense were professing belief in Jesus.

Revelation 8:8 Then the second angel Arius sounded his trumpet →[beginning in 286]← and something like a great mountain →[The Roman Empire was]← burning with fire →[Feeling God’s judgment against it]← was thrown into the sea. And a third of the sea turned to the blood →[Of Jesus for salvation]← 9a third of the living creatures →[Pagans]← in the sea died →[and became alive in Christ]← and a third of the ships →[Pagan Temples]← were destroyed →[By becoming Christian Churches.

Revelation 8:10 Then the third angel Jacob Baradaeus sounded his trumpet →[in 539]← and a great star burning like a torch fell from heaven →[Being rejected by the established leadership who at this point were accepting only the religious leadership of Rome.]← and →[his teachings]← landed on a third of the rivers →[As many places of learning accepted his teachings against the trinitarian ideology that Papacy was teaching]← and on the springs of water. 11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter like wormwood →[Used for determining if a woman (in this case the Catholic Church) was being faithful to her husband]← and many people died →[And became alive in Christ]← from the →[Result of understanding what the]← bitter waters. →Revealing… That the Catholic Church was not being faithful to her husband Jesus but was in an illicit union with the Kings of the earth.

Revelation 8:12 Then the fourth angel Peter Waldo sounded his trumpet →[in 1157]← and a third of the sun →[The Pope]← moon →[Papal Law]← and stars →[Cardinals and Bishops]← were struck →[As they could not deny that what Peter Waldo taught was scriptural. But they refused to teach it]← A third of the stars were darkened →[As their ministers came under sanctions against teaching Peter Waldo’s message]← a third of the day was without light, and a third of the night as well.

13 And as I observed, I heard an eagle flying overhead →[Something in the air was telling the people that things were not right with the world as it was. Surely this cannot be Jesus’ Kingdom as our rulers want to proclaim]← calling in a loud voice, “Woe! Woe! Woe to those who dwell on the earth, because of the trumpet blasts that are about to be sounded →[Surely Jesus will come and rectify the mess we are in]← by the remaining three angels!”

Revelation Chapter Nine → The Fifth Trumpet

Revelation 9:1 Then the fifth angel →John Wycliffe← sounded his trumpet →[in 1367, And those that ruled the political system did not take kindly to what Wycliffe taught]← and I saw his star fall from heaven to earth →[as they tried to shut down his influence]← and was given the key to the pit →[Wherein lies the Deep things]← of the →[Word of God that the Catholic Church was trying to hide in]← the Abyss. 2The star opened the pit of the Abyss, and smoke →[Evidence against Papacy]← rose out of it like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun →[The Papacy’s star person the Pope]← and the air →[The heavens]← were darkened by the smoke →[Evidence which came]← from the pit. 3And out of the smoke, →[Contrary to nature, beautiful]← locusts descended upon the earth, and they were given power like that of the scorpions of the earth. 4They were told not to harm the grass →[The common people]← of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5The locusts were not given power to kill them, but only to torment them →[By giving them the desire to convert to true Christianity]← for five months →[150 Years from Wycliffe to Luthe]r← and their torment was like the stinging of a scorpion. 6In those days men will seek death →[The death of the cross]← and will not find it; they will long to die →[And be dead with Christ]← but death will escape them →[Due to their insincerity and corruption.

7 And the locusts looked like horses →[beautiful doctrines]← prepared for battle, with something like crowns of gold →[Given by God]← on their heads; and their faces were like the →[Loving & Merciful]← faces of men. 8They had beautiful hair like that of women, and teeth like those of →[the lions -of the tribe of Judah]← 9They also had breastplates of →[Righteousness Strong as]← iron, and the sound of their wings was like the roar of many horses →[Doctrinal teachings]← and chariots rushing into battle. 10They had tails with stingers like scorpions, which had the power to injure people for five months →[150 Years from Wycliffe to Luther.]← 11 They were ruled by a king, the angel of the Abyss Jesus His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek it is Apollyon →Meaning the Destroyer of error.

Revelation 9:12 The first woe has passed. Behold, two woes are still to follow.

Revelation Chapter Nine → The Sixth Trumpet

Revelation 9:13 Then the sixth angel →[Martin Luther]← sounded his trumpet →[in 1517]← and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God 14 saying to the sixth angel with the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates”. →[The word of God.]←”

15So the four angels who had been prepared for this hour and day and month and year were released to kill →[With Kindness]← a third of mankind [By turning them into true Christians]. 16And the number of mounted troops was two hundred million →[The size of the Great Company]← I heard their number. → too large to count but given to us…

17Now the horses and riders in my vision looked like this: The riders had breastplates →[of Righteousness]← the colors of fire, sapphire, and sulfur. The heads of the horses were like the heads of lions, →All from the tribe of Judah]← and out of their mouths proceeded fire, smoke, and sulfur. →[The righteous Judgments of God against all unrighteousness.]← 18A third of mankind was killed →[With the kindness that was explained to them contained in the Word of God.] by the three plagues of fire, smoke, and sulfur that proceeded from their mouths. →[They were converted to believing in Jesus and became alive in Christ]←. 19For the power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; indeed, their tails were like snakes, having heads with which to inflict harm. →[Isaiah 9:15 The head is the elder and honorable man, and the tail is the prophet who teaches lies.]

20Now the rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the works of their hands. [Notice only the ones that did not repent survived the plagues] They did not stop worshiping demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk. 21Furthermore, they did not repent of their murder, sorcery, sexual immorality, and theft. →[According to this, only those that repented, died. The reality is that those that died became alive in Christ. The trumpet is made to look bad, but it is good. As in [Isaiah 5:20 "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who turn darkness to light and light to darkness, who replace bitter with sweet and sweet with bitter".]

Revelation Chapter Ten → Angel With Small Scroll

Revelation shows three instances of Jesus’ early return (Rev 10, 18, and 20), echoing Daniel’s vision in Daniel 7:9–14 where “the court was convened, and the books were opened.” Revelation 10 appears to mark the opening of the first of these books, while Rev 20:12 states again “And the books were opened”. Notably, there are ten chapters in Revelation where a book, the Bible, is being unsealed, and another ten where it seems the last book in the Bible, Revelation, is in process of being unsealed. It also appears the seventh angel is meant to record for us what the seven thunders—whose words were sealed—said. (see: Revelations Chain of Events Described in Daniel)

Revelation 10:1 Then I saw another mighty angel →[Jesus returning]← coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud →[So that the unfaithful would not see him]← with a rainbow above his head. →[To remind us of the covenant with Noah and tells us this is the end with a new beginning].← His face was like the sun, and his legs were like pillars of fire. 2He held in his hand a small scroll →[the book of Daniel]← which lay open. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land. →[This shows that he is at the end or Delta of the river of time.]← 3Then he cried out in a loud voice like the roar of a lion →of the tribe of← Judah. And when he cried out, the seven thunders sounded their voices. →[7 thunders (the last trumpet) are explained in the messages of Chapters 14, 16, and 18.] Revelation 10:4 When the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to put it in writing. But I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.” →[The William Miller movement, along with many others, were beginning to understand and it caused much rumbling-thunder. But with the disappointment of 1843-44 as stated in the "Wise and Foolish Virgins" parable they all fell back asleep].

Revelation 10:5 Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to heaven. [Dan 12:7] 6And he swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and everything in it, the earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it: “There will be no more delay! →[For the end of the time, times and half a time the 1260 years had come.

Note: The Church is Finished During the Sixth Stage of the Church as was Adam & Eve.

7But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God →[The Church]← will be completed…→[The 144,000 when considering both sides of the veil. One should consider the finishing of the original temple built by Solomon →1Kings 6. There one will note 3 times in which it is stated that he finished building the temple H3615 Verses 9, 14, and 38. There are also 3 dates given in Daniel 12 about this time period: the 1260=1799, 1290=1829, and 1335=1874]← …just as He proclaimed to His servants the prophets.

→Amongst those three dates is the cleansing of the temple 2300 days Daniel 8:14 properly translated “then the sanctuary will be properly restored” which occurs in 1843 after the first two finishes but before the third. H8552 The same thing happens when you investigate the watches of the night in Daniel 7. See Daniel 7 Watches Day and Night giving us a second witness of when the sleeping saints were raised.

8Then the voice that I had heard from heaven God’s Voice spoke to me again, saying, “Go, take the small scroll →[The book of Daniel]← that lies open in the hand of the angel Jesus standing on the sea and on the land.” →[End of the river of time @ the Delta 1799]← 9And I went to the angel and said, “Give me the small scroll.” “Take it and eat it,” he said. “It will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth, it will be as sweet as honey.”

Revelation 10:10 So I took the small scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I ate it, my stomach turned bitter. →[As in the bitter experiences in disappointment of thinking Jesus was going to return in 1843-44. Also, many of those who called themselves Christians fell away as the sanctuary was cleansed of those surface only Christians who fell asleep and ceased to look for a date.]← 11And I was told, “You must prophesy again about many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.” →[By giving the harvest message to the whole world via the 7th trumpet to be blown by Charles Russell]

Revelation Chapter Eleven → The Two Witnesses

Revelation 11:1 Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the number of worshipers there. 2But exclude the courtyard outside the temple. Do not measure it, because it has been given over to the nations →[as both good and bad were allowed into the court]← and they will trample the holy city for 42 months →=[1260 years.]← 3And I will empower my two witnesses →[The Old and New Testaments, Church and Great Company, Joshua and Caleb]← and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” →[The symbol for mourning as they made many sanctions against having a copy of the Bible. Having a copy could get you killed during Papacy’s reign of 1260 years from 539-1799]

Revelation 11:4 These witnesses are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. ←[The Bible Old and New Testaments is the word of God]← 5If anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouths and devours their enemies. In this way, anyone who wants to harm them must be killed. 6These witnesses have power to shut the heaven so that no rain will fall during the days of their prophecy, and power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they wish.

📜 The Chain Reaction Toward the Great Bible Here’s the sequence:

1526 — Tyndale’s New Testaments burned. → “overpowers and kills them” [Jesus says to the 5th church Rev 3:1 “I know your deeds; you have a reputation for being alive, yet you are dead.] Killed by the beast that rose out of the pit. All but two of his copies were confiscated by Rome’s henchmen and burned (suggesting the two witnesses).
1529 — 3½ years later: Tunstall buys and burns entire shipments; but the English Bible becomes uncontrollable. → “breath of life” 1534 — Henry VIII breaks with Rome. → “stood on their feet”
1535–1537 — Coverdale and Matthew Bibles appear, using Tyndale’s work.
1539 — Henry VIII authorizes the Great Bible, based heavily on Tyndale. → “great fear fell upon those who saw them (and read them)…” Rev 11:11
1789 →1799 A loud voice from heaven saying, “Come up here.” Note: Resurrection begins here.

Revelation 11:7 When the two witnesses have finished their testimony →[To the leaders of Rome. Note: same as Elijah tells Ahab and then flees 1 Kings 17]← the beast that comes up from the Abyss →[The Papal Roman Empire]← will wage war with them and will overpower and kill them. 8Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city—figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where their Lord was also crucified. 9For three and a half days all peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will view their bodies and will not permit them to be laid in a tomb. 10And those who dwell on the earth will gloat over them and celebrate and send one another gifts, because these two prophets had tormented them.

Revelation 11:11 But after three and a half days →[English Bible History: SEARCH FOR “three years later”]← the breath of life from God entered the two witnesses, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell upon those who saw them. →[Tyndale was incarcerated for 500 days before he was strangled and burned at the stake in 1536. Tyndale’s last words were, “Oh Lord, open the King of England’s eyes”. This prayer would be answered just three years later in 1539, when King Henry VIII finally allowed, and even funded, the printing of an English Bible known as the “Great Bible”]← 12And the witnesses heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud as their enemies watched them. →[This may also be another point that confirms the timing of the resurrection of the sleeping saints.

Revelation 11:13 And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city collapsed →[In the French Revolution.]← Seven thousand were killed →[Left the Catholic Church and became faithful followers of Jesus as a result]← of the quake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven. →[This follows the story of Jezebel getting thrown out the window by Jehu in 2 Kings 9:33.

Revelation 11:14 The second woe has passed. Behold, the third woe is coming shortly.

Revelation Chapter Eleven → The Seventh Trumpet 1877 –? Charles Russell

Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.” →[Just as John in 4:1 heard a voice behind him as a voice from the past so we see the 7th angel now as a voice from the past speaks to us about these things. And that the things that are about to be spoken to us are to be viewed by John as having already taken place.]

16And the twenty-four elders who sat on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God,→[Not only is the 7th messenger's voice is a thing of the past, the events about which the 24 elders speak of are to be seen as events that have already taken place.]← 17saying: “We give thanks to You, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign. 18The nations became enraged, and Your wrath has come. The time has come to judge the dead and to reward Your servants the prophets →[Public Speakers]← as well as the saints and those who fear Your name, both small and great—and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”

Revelation 11:19 Then the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple. →{Note: The Temple→ Finished}← And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and a great hailstorm. →[Each hailstone about the weight of a talent. These are some of the things we first saw in chapter 10 at Jesus' return in 1799 but were sealed up but now we should understand.]

Revelation Chapter Twelve→ The Woman and the Dragon

Revelation 12:1 And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman →[The early Church Covenant City]← clothed with the sun →[Abrahamic gospel light]← with the moon under her feet →[Supported by the Mosaic Law]← and a crown of twelve stars on her head →[Representing the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.]← 2She was pregnant →[With the antichrist]← and cried out in the pain and agony of giving birth. →[During the 10 years of Diocletian persecution]

3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: a huge red dragon with seven heads… →[Babylon, Persia, Macedonia, Egypt, Syria, now we are seeing Rome move to →#7 Constantinople]← …ten horns… →[Heruli, Ostrogoths, Lombards, Allemanni, Anglo Saxons, Franks, Burgundians, Visigoths, Suevi, and Vandals]← …and seven royal crowns on his heads… →[The same seven heads and horns of Daniel 7. Note: the crowns on the 7 heads indicate the time setting is when the 7th Constantinople has come to power.]← 4…His tail… →[The tail end of the Roman Empire]← …swept a third of the stars of the heavens, hurling them to the earth… →[As Satan deceived them (⅔=.666) into thinking that the kingdom of Jesus was being set up.]← …And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, ready to devour her child… →The first Roman Emperor to profess Christianity →Constantine← …as soon as she gave birth… →[in 313 just 280 years after Jesus was resurrected. Fascinating that 280 days/40 weeks is the number of days for the normal gestation of a human.

5And she gave birth to a son, a male child Constantine who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter →[For a thousand years from 800-1799.]← And her child was caught up to god →[The god of this world]← and to his throne →[Rome←. 6And the woman fled into the wilderness →[on foot! Later after canonization of the bible, On Wings of Eagles V14. Revelation Chapter Twelve→ The War in Heaven

Revelation 12:7 Then →[(a new vision) In 313]← a war broke out in heaven: Michael →[Meaning who as god→Constantine]← and his angels →[The Catholic Priesthood]← fought against the dragon and the dragon and his angels →[Satan, the Pagan Priesthood & his teachings]← fought back. 8But the dragon was not strong enough, and no longer was any place found for him in heaven and his angels →[By 539.]← 9And the great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels →The pagan priests← with him. →After 539 Paganism was no longer allowed to be taught in the Empire. Also, the Church State relations were finalized with the Papacy.

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven →[(In Heaven not From Heaven) Coming from the Papacy in 539, now fully installed in heaven]← saying: “Now has come salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ. For the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down—he who accuses them day and night before our God. 11And they loved not their lives even unto death. →[Papacy paying credit to those who were killed especially during the Diocletian persecution.]← 12 Therefore rejoice, O Papal heavens, and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea; with great fury the devil has come down to you, knowing he has only a short time.” →[This is the Papacy giving excuses for the deeds of the Devil continuing.

The Woman Persecuted

Revelation 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown to the earth, he pursued →[Until 539]← the woman →[early Church Covenant City]← who had given birth to the male child. →[Pursued even to Constantinople where he set up shop. where also the 3rd messenger Jacob Baradaeus was preaching from.]← 14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle to fly from the presence of the serpent to her place in the wilderness, where she was nourished for a time, and times, and half a time →[1260 Years from 539-1799.

15Then from his mouth the serpent cast out →muddy← water like a river to overtake the woman and sweep her away in the torrent. 16But the earth helped the woman and opened its mouth to swallow up the river →[By accepting the ugly form of Christianity]← that the dragon had poured from his mouth. →[This was the Dragon's attempt to deceive the woman into believing doctrines that have no life in them]← 17And the dragon was enraged →[Dan 11:30]← at the woman and went to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea. →[Watching over the rise of a new form of the beast - Rome being resurrected from its destruction in 476.

Revelation Chapter Thirteen→ 7 Head 10 Horned Wounded Beast

And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea Revelation 13:1 Then I saw a beast with ten horns and seven heads rising out of the sea. →[The same seven heads and horns of the Dragon and the beasts of Daniel 7.]← There were ten royal crowns on its horns →[The crowns now on the 10 horns indicate the time setting is when the horns had come to power around 476 at the fall of Pagan Rome]← and with blasphemous names on its heads. →[The Papal Roman Empire inherited the combined wisdom of the seven empires that lived before it.→ It is now the 8th] 2The beast I saw was like a leopard Greece with the feet of a bear Persia and the mouth of a lion Babylon And the Dragon Satan gave the beast his power and his throne Rome and great authority. →[The resultant Papal Empire acquired and used all the strongest military and psychological powers of all the previous empires described in Daniel 7 combined to make war against the saints.]

Revelation 13:3 One of the heads of the beast appeared to have been mortally wounded →[Rome was wounded in 476 when the Germanic chieftain Odoacer deposed the last Western Roman emperor, Romulus Augustulus.]← But the mortal wound was healed →[In 539 by Justinian when he sent Belisarius, Narses, and other generals which conquered the Ostrogothic Kingdom, restoring Dalmatia, Sicily, Italy and Rome to the empire after more than half a century of rule by the Ostrogoths]← and the whole world marveled and followed the beast. →[Now the Papal Roman Empire.]← 4And they worshiped the dragon →[The Devil now ruling with civil authority from Constantinople]← who had given authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast →[Now the Papal Roman Empire]← saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can wage war against it?”

Permitted to Rule for 42 Months = 1260 Years

Revelation 13:5 The beast was given →[the Pope's]← mouth to speak arrogant and blasphemous words →Claiming to be Christ’s Kingdom set up on earth← and given authority to act for 42 months →[1260 Years from 539 to 1799.]← 6And the beast opened its mouth to speak blasphemies against God and to slander His name and His tabernacle—those who dwell in God’s heaven. →[Ephesians 2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus]

7Then the beast was permitted to wage war against the saints and to conquer them →[As was stated also in [Revelation 11:7]← and it →[the now Beastly Papal Roman Empire]← was given authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. 8And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Revelation 13:9 He who has an ear, let him hear: 10“He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword.” →[This is God’s Justice.]← Herein lies the patience and the faith of the saints. →[John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.]

Note in scripture 1/3 is always the way the good people are affected, they are the ones that die to self. The bad part left of 2/3 is always the way the bad part is affected. They may suffer a little but they scripturally always go on sinning. Note: Divide 2/3 and you get 666… ]

Revelation 14:1 Then I looked and saw the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000 who had His name and His Father’s name written on their foreheads. 2And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of many waters and the loud rumbling of thunder. And the sound I heard was like harpists strumming their harps. 3And they sang a new song(1) →About the fact that God’s Judgments have begun.]← before the throne →[not yet on the throne.]← and before the four living creatures and the elders. And no one could learn the song(2) except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. 4These are the ones who have not been defiled(4) with women Churches for they are virgins(4). They follow the Lamb wherever He goes(5). →[They are not concerned with denominations]← They have been redeemed from among men as first-fruits to God and to the Lamb. 5And no lie was found in their mouths(6); they are blameless(7). [This ends the final vision of the overall gospel age, now begins several focused views of only the harvest portion of the end times,]

Three Angels–Babylon’s Judgment

Revelation 14:6 Then I saw another angel flying in the air, with the eternal gospel to proclaim [NOTE: 1st plague msg From the risen Apostle Paul] to those who dwell on the earth, to every nation and tribe and tongue and people. 7And he said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come. →[This judgment refers to Daniel 7:9 & 25-26. Time wise this appears to be 1799 just following the French Revolution→the beginning of God’s judgment against Papacy]← Worship the One who made the heavens and the earth and the sea and the springs of waters.”→

Revelation 14:8 Then a second angel followed →[In 1829]← saying, →[2nd plague msg From Arius]← “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, who has made all the nations drink the wine of the passion of her immorality.” →Notably: Between 1829 and 1874, America—the main source of the harvest -- experienced the Civil War from 1861 to 1865. Similarly, the second seal refers to Christians turning on each other with the rise of Papacy. Also: Rome fell in the 2nd trumpet period.

Revelation 14:9 And a third angel →[In 1843]← followed them, calling out in a loud voice, →[3rd plague msg- 1843-1874 From the risen Jacob Baradaeus]← “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on his forehead or on his hand →[The teaching of the Trinity and belief in Hell-Fire and Brimstone.]← 10 he too will drink the wine of God’s anger, poured undiluted into the cup of His wrath. And he will be tormented →by his own belief← in fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. →[The more they believe in Hell Fire and Brimstone, the more torment they feel. As they are tormented by their own false belief.]← 11And the smoke of their torment →[The stench of their prayers← rises forever and ever. Day and night there is no rest for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” →[Because of their belief in hell fire and brimstone {taught by the money hungry beast} which causes them to feel that they must convert the world to Jesus now before they die. Otherwise, those not converted will be tormented for all eternity. This is the most blasphemous doctrine ever taught about our Loving Heavenly Father. God forbid the amount of pain they will feel if their children do not believe in their horrible god which in reality is the Devil.]

Similarly: [[[The church’s third stage began in 539, when the Catholic Church began to “ride the beast.” During this period, doctrines such as the Trinity and hellfire were promoted to frighten unbelievers into becoming paying members of the Church. The Church also claimed to be God’s Kingdom established on earth and taught that the Devil had only a short time remaining.]]]

Revelation 14:12 Here is a call for the perseverance of the saints, who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

{{{The point of this is that the saints “rest in faith” that Jesus and the completed Church glorified together after the marriage is complete beyond the veil will convert the rest of the world. 1 Corinthians 15:22 “For as in Adam all die, so in Christ shall all be made alive.” 1 Timothy 2:4 “who will have everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Romans 5:18 “So then, just as one trespass brought condemnation for all men, so also one act of righteousness brought justification and life for all men.” Romans 5:19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man Jesus the same many will be made righteous.}}}

Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven telling me to write, “Blessed are the dead →[In Christ]← who →Physically← die in the Lord from this moment on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labors, and their deeds will continue with them” →1 Corinthians 15:52 “in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye -Upon our death, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed →When we die”. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 “After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air →[Upon our death]←. And so, we will always be with the Lord.”

These three angels are likely related to the three time periods of Daniel 12:7-11, the 1260, 1290, and 1335 days. All the time periods begin with 539. 539+1260=1799 Ending the French Revolution. 539+1290=1829 beginning of the Miller movement which advocated that the Lord would return in 1843 which was the date of the 2300 days, the cleansing of the sanctuary. 539+1335=1874 The actual time of our Lord’s return and the completion of the temple. These angels likely helped Russell to write the volumes of Studies in the scriptures.

Revelation Chapter Fourteen→ Jesus Harvesting the Earth

Revelation 14:14 And I looked and saw →[4th plague msg- 1874 From the risen Peter Waldo]← a white cloud and seated on the cloud was One like the Son of Man Jesus with a golden crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand.

Three Angels then–Babylon’s Fall

15Then another angel came out of the temple →[Note: this is evidence the temple is now finished]← crying out in a loud voice to the One seated on the cloud, →[5th plague msg- 1878 From John Wycliffe]← “Swing Your sickle and reap, because the time has come to harvest, for the crop of the earth is ripe.” 16So the One seated on the cloud swung His sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.

NOTE: [[[ in 1878, Russell began to preach that 1914 would be the beginning of Armageddon, so that when 1914 came and World War one broke out, many thought it to be and called it Armageddon. Along that line, Note: again, that the Jewish people began to have their fortunes restored in 1878. At the Berlin Congress of Nations, assembled in 1878, under Benjamin Disraeli the only ever Jewish English Prime Minister of England was able to allow the Jewish people to buy land in Israel again and marks the beginning of

the harvest as stated in Hosea 6:11, “Also, O Judah, he has set an harvest for you, when I return the captivity of my people.” As a result Petah Tikva, meaning the door of hope, became the first Jewish Settlement and marks the date at which the Harvest begins.]]]

Harvest of the Vine of the Earth

Revelation 14:17 Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. →[6th plague message stating that 1914 would be the end of the Gentile times to rule over Israel. From Martin Luther]← 18Still another angel, with authority over the fire, came from the altar →[as Charles Russell was still on the altar on this side of the veil finishing his sacrifice]← and called out in a loud voice to the angel with the sharp sickle, →[7th plague msg 1914 From Charles Russell]← “Swing your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes →[Of wrath]← from the vine of the earth, because its grapes are ripe.”

Revelation 14:19 So the angel swung his sickle over the earth and gathered the grapes →Of wrath← of the earth, and he threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath. 20And the winepress was trodden outside the city →[Designated time to rule was from 314 to 1914]← and the blood that flowed from it rose as high as the bridles of the horses →[This reminds us of a “that’s enough” gesture as in “I have had it up to here with you as you swipe your hand across your throat”- the Doctrinal hobby horse of Church State Union]← for a distance of 1,600 stadia. -40X40=1600 Years. The Church State union (also described in Daniel 11:28) killed the saints for 1600 years starting with the Donatists in 314. That system began to be trampled on October 1st, 1914.

NOTE: [[[This unholy union between the Christian Church and the State led Christians to kill other Christians with the “sword of the state,” as referenced in Revelation 6:4. The killing began with the Donatists in 314 and continued for 1,600 years—literally to the day. Both Revelation 14:20 and Daniel 11:27 describe this as "doing damage" for 1,600 stadia, which also represents a biblical trial period squared: 40 × 40 = 1,600→years. This period began on August 1st, 314, at the Council of Arles, which marked the start of the Christian Church-State union, and ended exactly 1,600 years later on August 1st, 1914—to the very day. That same day, World War 1 began when Germany declared war on Russia after Russia moved to support Serbia, sparking an East-West religious conflict involving multiple "Christian" nations. This timing appears to be more than coincidence, since it also aligns with the destruction of both Jewish temples, observed on the Jewish calendar as the 9th of Av. Hebrew Date Converter - August 1, 1914 / 9th of Av, 5674 - Hebcal. This also marks the beginning of the destruction of Christendom’s empires.]]]

Revelation Chapter Fifteen → Plague Preparations

Revelation 15:1 Then I saw another great and marvelous sign in heaven: seven angels with the seven final plagues, with which the wrath of God is completed. 2And I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire →[This refers to the Sea that Solomon made for the purpose of cleansing]← beside which stood those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name. They were holding harps from God, 3and they sang the Victory song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb:

“Great and wonderful are Your works, O Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the nations! 4Who will not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before You, for Your righteous acts have been revealed.”

Revelation 15:5 After this I looked, and the Temple [The Permanent Place] of the tabernacle of the Testimony—was opened in heaven. →[The Temple number is complete, but some are still tabernacling in the flesh!]← 6And out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues, dressed in clean and bright linen and girded with golden sashes around their chests. →[Dressed for serving meat in due season]

[[[Another scriptural concept that ties the timing of these events together is the concept of when “the temple in heaven is opened.” This concept is stated three times in Revelation. Revelation 11:19, Revelation 15:5, and Revelation 14:15 & 17. Outside revelation: Genesis 7:11, Luke 3:21, Exodus 40:34-35, 1Kings 8:10-11, 2 Chronicles 5:11-14, and especially Ezekiel 10:2-7. It seems most of these reference the completion of the Temple pointing to 1874.]]]

Revelation 15:7 Then one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls →containers or books published to spread the good news as in the 6 volumes of Studies in the Scriptures← full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever. →[to deliver coals of fire upon their heads as in Proverbs 25:21-22]← 8And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power; and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed. →[Note: This vision has its parallel in Ezekiel 10]

Revelation Chapter Sixteen → Seven Last Plagues

Revelation 16:1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go, pour out on the earth the seven bowls of God’s wrath.” →[The volumes of Studies in the Scriptures written by Charles Russell. Please see: Glossary of Terms.]

2So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and loathsome, malignant sores broke out on those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. →[When one compares the truth as contained in the [First Volume as overseen by the Apostle Paul] to what those who retain the doctrines of the ‘Catholic Church’, this is a very good description]

3And the second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it turned to blood like that of a dead man →[Jesus' blood]← and every living thing in the sea died. →[Anyone looking for truth that was not already a part of Babylon was converted by the message of the [Second Volume as overseen by Arius] This also is like the 2nd Trumpet where a mountain was cast into the sea and a third of the sea turned to blood.

Revelation 16:4 And the third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers Universities and springs of water schools, and they turned to blood Christianity. 5And I heard the angel of the waters say: “Righteous are You, O Holy One, who is and was, because You have brought these judgments. 6For they have spilled the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood →[True Christian Doctrine]← to drink, as they deserve.” →[They deserve to be tormented by their own beliefs in the trinity and hell fire and brimstone especially when they prefer believing in that over what is taught in the [Third volume overseen by Jacob Baradaeus beyond the veil]← 7And I heard the altar reply: “Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and just are Your judgments.” →[The third volume has a section in it called The Great Pyramid-the altar.

Revelation 16:8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun →[And the [Fourth volume overseen by Peter Waldo] entitled ‘the Battle of Armageddon’ showed them what lay ahead if they continued in their present course]← and it →[The gospel Sun]← was given power to scorch the people with fire. 9And the people were scorched by intense heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had authority over these plagues. Yet they did not repent and give Him glory. →[Those who do repent, die to self, consecrating themselves to the Lord are then hidden in Christ]

Revelation 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness, and men began to gnaw their tongues in anguish 11and curse the God of heaven for their pains and sores. Yet they did not repent of their deeds. →[When one compares the understanding of the Atonement as presented in the [Fifth Volume overseen by John Wycliffe] to what the Papacy teaches, all I can say is yikes the Papacy was in real ‘darkness’.

12And the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the East →The Church the 144,000. The Sixth Volume, “The New Creation,” was published in 1904 under the oversight of Martin Luther in 1904, ten years before World War I. This decade led up to major upheaval in Europe, reminiscent of the ten-year Diocletian Persecution before the establishment of Christian Church State systems, and foreshadowed significant changes for these systems. Notably, this period is associated with the proclamation, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ… Rev 11:15”

Revelation 16:13 And I saw →for 10 years← three unclean spirits that looked like frogs coming out of the mouths of the dragon →[Satan/Civil Power/Kings]← the beast →[Roman Empire/Emperor]← and the false prophet →[Papacy/Pope]← 14These are demonic spirits that perform signs and go out to all the kings of the earth, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty. →[When you read what was going on amongst the European Nations between 1904 and 1914 this is a really good description. As shown in history→ Oxford Book & Making of the Military Entente, 1904–14: France, the British Army, and the Prospect of War* | The English Historical Review | Oxford Academic.

15“Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who remains awake and clothed, so that he will not go naked and let his shame be exposed.” 16And they assembled the kings in the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon. →[All of the Volumes published by Charles Russell explain to those rightly exercised that the Lord had returned and was preparing to destroy the Church State systems of Europe beginning in 1914. Note: By 1914 Europe ruled 84% of the surface of the earth. The 4th volume entitled the Battle of Armageddon was published in 1897. Frank E. Revelation Chapter Sixteen → Seventh Bowl of Wrath = Armageddon

Revelation 16:17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air →[Charles Russell now having been caught up into the air himself, understands and gives the message to those who have seen him go and get a double portion of his spirit to write it down.]← and a loud voice came from the throne in the temple →[Where Russell went]← saying, “It is done!” →The times of the Gentiles are ‘done’ and Israel now needs to be reestablished← 18And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, and a great earthquake the likes of which had not occurred since men were upon the earth—so mighty was the great quake.

The conflict became known as ‘The Great War.’ It also brought down the kings who had previously stripped the Harlot City of Rome of its Papal States and burned her with fire. 19 The great city →Babylon, identified here as the Roman Empire, which then ruled 84% of the earth→ was split into three parts: →(1) the West—Europe and its allies; (2) the East—Russia and its allies; and (3) colonies still subject to the Eastern and Western empires. This division also gave rise to the term third world countries and may correspond to Noah’s three sons—Shem, Ham, and Japheth.→ and the cities of the nations collapsed, →as financial systems did during the Great Depression of 1929–1939.→ And God remembered Babylon the great and gave her the cup of the wine of the fury of His wrath. →This passage describes World War 2. Much of this fury of His wrath (Rev. 19:15) was carried out between England and Germany, according to Daniel 11:44, upon what remained of Babylonish Roman Empire. Revelation Chapter Seventeen → Harlot and the Beast

Revelation 17:1 Then one of the seven angels →Jesus← who had the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits on many waters. 2The kings of the earth were immoral with her, and those who dwell on the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her immorality.” →Doctrines teaching Church & State being the Kingdom of God on earth. Along with the Trinity and Hell Fire and Brimstone for the unsaved.

3And the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness →The period of the Church from 539-1799← where I saw a woman →The City of Rome see V18← sitting on a scarlet beast →The Babylonish Roman Empire← that was covered with blasphemous names →All said they were God’s kingdom on earth← and →the beast← had seven heads and ten horns. 4The woman was dressed in purple →Royalty and Kingship← and scarlet →Sin, Blood, and Guilt← and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls. →She was wealthy beyond comprehension.← She held in her hand a golden cup →Their mixed-up view of the Bible← full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality. →With the kings← 5And on her forehead a mysterious name was written BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

The Mystery Explained

Revelation 17:6 I could see that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints and witnesses for Jesus. And I was utterly amazed at the sight of her. 7“Why are you so amazed?” said the angel. “I →[Jesus speaking to John in 90 CE]← will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and ten horns. 8The beast →Babylon← that you saw once was, and now is no more, →As Babylon had fallen in 536 BCE← but is about to come out of the Abyss and →take over the Roman Empire which will eventually→ go to its destruction. And those who dwell on the earth whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see the beast that was →[BCE 607-539]← and is not, and yet will be →Again. [When the Roman Empire having fallen in 476 comes back as the Babylonish Roman Empire in 539 so that the unfaithful Christian Church will have their day in “Spiritual Babylon The Great” like the unfaithful Jewish nation had their day in literal Babylon.]

Revelation 17:9 This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains →7 Empires← on which the woman sits. 10There are also seven kings. →[This tells us that the Lord sees these as seven kingly dynasties that created the Empires which had their hand in ruling over Israel all these had the spirit of Babylon.] Five have fallen, →(1) Babylon Fell in 539BCE, (2) Persia at Susa fell in 336BCE, (3) Greece at Pella Fell in 323BCE, (4) Greece at Alexandria Fell in 198BCE, (5) Greece at Antioch Fell to Rome in 64BCE. one is, (#6) Then in BC 64BCE, Rome came to power over Israel and was still reigning when Revelation was given to John. and the other has not yet come. →(the 7th) The Eastern Roman Empire begins to rule from Constantinople in the Grecian land of Thrace as the 7th head in 330CE and at the same time becomes the 4th and last head of Greece. Note: Daniel 7:6 and Daniel 8:24.← But when he does comes, he must remain for only a little while. →The Eastern Roman Empire ruled Jerusalem from AD 330 to 800 — a relatively short period compared to the long span of Rome itself.

Revelation 17:11 The beast that was, and now is not, is an eighth king, →[Chronologically, Rome returns to power after its fall in 476, reemerging between 539 and 800 as Papal Rome–Babylon The Great, The Mother of Harlots]← who belongs to the other seven and →Having their combined spirit and in this form← is going →to go← into destruction. 12The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet →as of AD90← received a kingdom. But they receive authority as kings with the beast for one-hour 13These kings have one purpose: to yield their power and authority to the beast. →[Constantine, crowned in York, England, became Emperor over France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and parts of Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, and Northern Italy.

Revelation 17:14 They →[The 10 horns]← will make war against the Lamb →[At the direction of the Papacy]← and the Lamb will triumph over them, →[Beginning in 1914 – WW1]← because He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and He will be accompanied by His called, chosen and faithful ones.” →[By that point in time much of the church will have been transformed in the twinkling of an eye. The rest likely by 2033-2037]

15Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute was seated, are peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues. 16And the ten horns →10 European Kings/Nations← and the beast →The Roman Empire← that you saw will →Come to by 1799← hate the prostitute. They will leave her desolate and naked, and they will eat her flesh →the Papal States← and burn her with fire. →Judgments against her from 1799 to 1870.→ 17For God has put it into their hearts to carry out His purpose by uniting to give their kingdom to the beast →[From 539→1799]→ until the words of God are fulfilled. →referring to the “1260 years”. After 1799, under Napoleon they began to devour her flesh and burn her with fire; by 1870, Victor Imanuel would consume her completely← 18And the woman you saw is the great city →Rome← that →Presently in AD90← rules over the kings of the earth.”

Revelation Chapter Eighteen → Babylon Falls

Revelation shows three instances of Jesus’ return (Rev 10, 18, and 20), echoing Daniel’s vision in Daniel 7:9–14 where “the court was convened, and the books were opened.” Revelation 10 appears to mark the opening of the first of these books, while Rev 20:12 states again “And the books were opened”. Notably, there are ten chapters in Revelation where a book, the Bible, is being unsealed, and another ten where it seems the last book in the Bible is in process of being unsealed. It also appears the seventh angel is meant to record for us what the seven thunders—whose words were sealed→said. (see: Revelations Chain of Events Described in Daniel)

This is the 2nd time we see Jesus in a different return aspect. Originally foreseen in Daniel’s Vision of the Ancient of Days 7:9 to 14. Aspect 1-per-Rev 10 and aspect 3-per-Rev 20 on his father’s throne in 1799. →[Jesus returning as in chapter 10 on his father’s throne in 1799]

Revelation 18:1 After this I saw another angel →Jesus← descending from heaven with great authority, →[1st message from resurrected Apostle Paul]← and the earth was illuminated by his glory. →[Period of the world’s enlightenment after the French Revolution from 1789 to 1799. As also explained in the 1st angel’s message of Revelation 14:6 & 7.← 2And he cried out in a mighty voice: “Fallen →[476]← fallen →[1870]← is Babylon the great! →[2nd message from resurrected Arius] This occurs before our Lord’s return in 1874 as also seen in →Revelation 14:8 and refers again to the French Revolution but a more general understanding of it by 1829 the end of the 1290 days of Daniel 12:11 at which time those of understanding began looking for our Lord's return in earnest. Like William Miller who calculated our Lord's return would take place in 1843.]← She has become a lair for demons and a haunt for every unclean spirit, every unclean bird, and every detestable beast. 3All the nations have drunk the wine of the passion of her immorality. The kings of the earth were immoral with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown wealthy from the extravagance of her luxury.” 4Then I heard another voice from heaven say: →[3rd message from resurrected Jacob Baradaeus]← “Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins or contract any of her plagues. →By this point in time, most of the Papal States had been taken and what remained was about to be taken by Victor Emmanuel. This refers back to Revelation 14:9 where again the 3rd angel gives the message of the 3rd plague.← 5For her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6Give back to her as she has done to others; pay her back double for what she has done; mix her a double portion in her own cup. →[This cup represents the Bible in which she has mixed the doctrines of the Church State Union by which she claims to be the Kingdom of God on earth. Note that the true church is commissioned to fill that cup double. We do this with both the Early and Latter rains twice what the early church had. The Lord provided the later rain via the 7th Messenger Charles Russell who blew the 7th trumpet.]← 7As much as she has glorified herself and lived in luxury, give her the same measure of torment and grief. For in her heart she says, ‘I sit as queen; I am no widow and will never see grief.’

This passage may be viewed allegorically through Elisha in 2 Kings 2, who received a double portion of Elijah’s spirit after witnessing his departure. In this interpretation, Russell represents Elijah, departing during World War I on October 31, 1916, when he was changed “in the twinkling of an eye.” Elisha represents those who remain until their own change and later return to Bethel to confront the prophetic schools Elijah and Elisha together had established.

At Bethel, boys mocked Elisha, with the words, “Go up, you baldhead,” reflecting scorn for the hope of meeting the Lord in the air. Elisha cursed them in the Lord’s name, and two she-bears mauled forty-two boys. The number forty-two recalls the Church’s 42 months in the wilderness, while the bears represent the beast and its image, spreading Babylon’s doctrines of the trinity, hell fire, and brimstone.

In this light, Revelation 14:9-10 describes the torment of those who worship the beast and its image. This torment is experienced by believers in hellfire when they love someone they fear may suffer it; their prayers rise like smoke but offend God because they continue to cling to this devilish doctrine.

Revelation 18:8 [4th message from resurrected Peter Waldo] Therefore her plagues will come in one [Harvest Period] day—death and grief and famine—and she will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.”

Revelation 18:9 Then the kings of the earth who committed sexual immorality and lived in luxury with her will weep and wail at the sight of the smoke rising from the fire →Judgments from the 10 Kings← that consumes her. 10In fear of her torment, they will stand at a distance and cry out: “Woe, woe →[5th message from resurrected John Wycliffe] Note that Just like there were three woes representing the last three trumpets, so here we find three double Woe’s. [Also #’s 5, 6, & 7]← to the great city, the mighty city of Babylon! For in a single hour your judgment has come.” →This hour is also part of the double Woe’s and the last three angels seen after our Lord's Return in Rev 14:14.← 11And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, because there is no one left to buy their cargo— 12cargo of gold, silver, precious stones, and pearls; of fine linen, purple, silk, and scarlet; of all kinds of citron wood and every article of ivory, precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; 13of cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, and frankincense; of wine, olive oil, fine flour, and wheat; of cattle, sheep, horses, and carriages; of bodies and souls of slaves. 14And they will say: “The fruit of your soul’s desire has departed from you; all your luxury and splendor have vanished, never to be seen again.” 15The merchants who sold these things and gained their wealth from her will stand at a distance, in fear of her torment. They will weep and mourn, 16saying: “Woe, woe [6th message from resurrected Martin Luther] to the great city, clothed in fine linen and purple and scarlet, adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! 17For in a single hour [This hour is also part of the double Woe’s]. such fabulous wealth has been destroyed!” Every shipmaster, passenger, and sailor, and all who make their living from the sea, will stand at a distance 18and cry out at the sight of the smoke rising from the fire that consumes her. “What city was ever like this great city?” they will exclaim.

Revelation 18:19 Then they will throw dust on their heads as they weep and mourn and cry out: “Woe, woe [7th message from resurrected Charles Russell] to the great city, where all who had ships on the sea were enriched by her wealth! For in a single hour, she has been destroyed.” →As in the 7th plague of Revelation 16:17.

Revelation 18:20 Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets [The mentioning of the apostles and prophets shows that they have been resurrected at this point] because God has pronounced for you His judgment against her. 21Then a mighty angel picked up a stone the size of a great millstone and cast it into the sea, saying: “With violence the great city of Babylon →[The Babylonian-Roman Empire]← will be cast down, never to be seen again. →[After WW1 & WW2, she will never again be in a position of power; she has become a hollowed out institution of the past.]← 22And the sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and trumpeters, will never ring out in you again. →[no one will look to her for serious biblical understanding.]← Nor will any craftsmen of any trade be found in you again, nor will the sound of a millstone be heard in you again. 23The light of a lamp will never shine in you again, and the voices of a bridegroom and bride →[Christ and his Church]← will never be heard in you again. →[as they were called out of her and obeyed his command to “come out of her my people…]← For your merchants were the great ones of the earth, because all the nations were deceived by your sorcery.” 24And there was found in her the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who had been slain on the earth. →[this appears to teach that since WW2 there is not enough understanding taught in the Institutional churches (which she is the mother of) to warrant the Lord begetting any of them with the holy spirit. This is because he does not want to subject them to the 2nd death. One must first come out by coming in contact with the Harvest Message then maybe he will give them the holy spirit.]

Revelation Chapter Nineteen → The Marriage of the Lamb

There are only FOUR HALLELUJAH’S in the bible, all in this chapter?!

Revelation 19:1 After this →[WW1]← I heard a sound like the roar of a great multitude in heaven, shouting: “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God! 2For His judgments are true and just. He has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her immorality. He has avenged the blood of His servants that was poured out by her hand. 3And a second time →After WW2← they called out: “Hallelujah! Her smoke rises forever and ever.” →[As she is still there in the minds of her followers, but she has no power to do anything but continue to burn in her desire to have the power she had.]

Revelation 19:4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying: “Amen, Hallelujah!” →[(G239 four times.)For he the Lord has brought to pass what He stated would happen to her.]← 5Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise [G134 one time here, 9 times throughout the Bible] our God, all you who serve Him, and those who fear Him, small and great alike!”

Revelation 19:6 And I heard a sound like the roar of a great multitude, like the rushing of many waters, and like a mighty rumbling of thunder, crying out: “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns. 7Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. →True since 1874. Since that time the Full Number has been complete between both sides of the veil.← 8She was given clothing of fine linen, bright and pure.” For the fine linen she wears is the righteous acts of the saints.

Revelation 19:9 Then the angel →Jesus← told me to write, “Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”

In the parable of the Banquet, Matthew 22:10 says the servants gathered “both evil and good” until the wedding hall was filled. This general call continued until the Lord’s return; in 1874, when the number became complete and the inspection began. The invitation then became individual, as shown in Revelation 3:20, where Christ knocks and dines with whoever opens, and Luke 12:36-37, where only the watching servants open when the master returns from the wedding. Together, these passages suggest the call shifted from a broad to both bad and good people to an individual call to the righteous.

When the king inspected the guests, he found one without a wedding garment. Song of Solomon 5:3 this helps explain this robe imagery, while Revelation 14:1-5 shows the number complete before the Lord’s return in verse 14. If someone is removed from the banquet, a place opens for an individual invitation with better qualifications as a replacement.

Revelation 19:10 So I fell at his feet to worship him. But he told me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who rely on the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! →Jesus always directs all worship to God! This is one of the most anti trinitarian verses.← For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of →This← prophecy.”

Revelation Chapter Nineteen → The Rider on the White Horse

Revelation 19:11 Then I saw →A new vision.← heaven standing open, →This is mentioned in: Matthew 3:16 When Jesus was baptized, and Acts 10:11 →signaling? the time of our Lord's return?← and there before me was a white horse. And its rider is called Faithful and True. With righteousness He judges and wages war. 12He has eyes like blazing fire, and many royal crowns on His head →He took off the heads of the kings of Europe in WW1.← He has a name written on Him that only He Himself knows. 13He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is The Word of God. Isaiah 63:1 “Who is this coming from Edom, from Bozrah with crimson-stained garments?”

Revelation 19:14 The armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and pure, follow Him on white horses. →It is interesting that this verse is 19:14 WW1=1914← 15And from His mouth proceeds a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and He will rule them with an iron scepter. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. →[By sending hunters after the Jewish people to get them to go back home. Resulting in World War two.]← 16And He has a name written on His robe and on His thigh:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Revelation 19:17 Then I saw an angel →Jesus← standing in the sun →[The sun of righteousness having risen]← and he cried out in a loud voice to all the birds flying overhead, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, 18so that you may eat the flesh of kings and commanders and mighty men, of horses and riders, of everyone slave and free, small and great.”

Revelation 19:19 Then I saw the beast →In 1914 the Roman Empire ruling 84% of the earth← and the kings of the earth with their armies assembled to wage war against the One seated on the horse, and against His army. →[Representing WW1 or 2?] 20But the beast →The Roman Empire← was captured along with the false prophet →The Papacy← who on its behalf had performed signs deceiving those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image →The image (the papal states) having already been destroyed along with the City of Rome in 1870. The woman of chapter 18 must represent the Catholic Church which has yet to be buried though the Dogs have eaten her flesh. In chapter 18 the Lord is seen taking down the harlot Woman and the Image that rode the beast and now he is beginning to show the takedown of the beast beginning in 1914← Both the beast →The Roman Empire← and the false prophet [The Papal Horn] were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. 21And the rest were killed with the sword that proceeded from the mouth of the One seated on the horse. →[All Christians must kill their own flesh to become alive in Christ]← And all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh. →Christians are compared to birds that feed on the meat of God’s word. When we partake of Jesus, we gain understanding of the way that leads to life. When we partake of the “great supper of God,” we gain understanding of the ways that lead to death. In other words, the conduct of those who died in this conflict, leaving their carcasses behind, shows what must be avoided in order to live.

→Note: Psalm 79:2-5 “The dead bodies of your servants have been given to be meat unto the fowls of heaven, the flesh of your saints unto the beasts of the earth.” →[But the beast has just been slain?]

Satan Cast into the Lake of Fire

Revelation 20:1 Then I saw an angel →Jesus← coming down from heaven with the key to the Abyss →[This is the 3rd time we see Jesus in a different aspect of Jesus' return. Aspect 1-per-Rev 10 and aspect 2-per-Rev 18 on his father’s throne in 1799. This is the 3rd and last vision of the evil forces in this world's end as given in Daniel 7:9 to 14.]← holding in his hand a great chain →Of events←. 2He seized the dragon →The last thing he does in the chain of events← that ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan and bound him for a thousand years. 3And he threw him into the Abyss, shut it, and sealed it over him, so that he could not deceive the nations until the thousand years were complete. After that, he must be released for a brief period of time. →[To determine if everybody has grasped the concepts of good and evil and can resist the temptations of the devil.]

4Then I saw the thrones, and those seated on them had been given authority to judge. →[A new scene about the beginning of Judgment. Original reference found in Daniel 7:9]← And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or hands. And they came to life →[ending the first resurrection]← and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. →During the mediatorial phase of the Kingdom when Christ and his Church will Mediate the new Law covenant.

5 ~~The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years were complete.~~ →This was added and is not part of the original text.← 5 This is the first resurrection. 6Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection! The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. →[likely 2044 through 3043. The 7th Millenium since Adam and Eve were created. 2043 ends 6000 years since Adam was created.]

Revelation 20:7 When the thousand years are complete, Satan will be released from his prison, 8and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to assemble them for battle. Their number is like the sand of the seashore. →The Gospel Age ended with Gog and Magog ending the Churches stay on earth. After the resurrection of the Church, the world is resurrected and they too have a chance to experience Satan’s power as again seen with Gog and Magog.

9And they marched across the broad expanse of the earth and surrounded the camp →temporary← of the saints and the beloved city →Jerusalem, Israel←. But fire came down from heaven and consumed them. 10And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, into which the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. →The people will forever remember the consequences of disobedience to God. Remembering it will keep them in line forever.

Revelation Chapter Twenty → The White Throne Judgment

Revelation 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and the One seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from His presence, and no place was found for them. 12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. →This is another vision of Daniel 7:9-10.

And books were opened, and one of them was the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their deeds, as recorded in the books →The Bible.← 13The sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades →The Adamic grave← gave up their dead, and each one was judged according to his deeds. →[to see how they will rectify what they did.]

Revelation 20:14 Then Death →[The dying process]← and Hades →[Adamic Death]← were thrown into the lake of fire →[Destroyed]. The lake of fire is the second death. →Today people die because of Adam. Then they will die because of their own sins, if they die at all…← 15Anyone whose name was not found in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. →[You will not get life if you stay a goat. You must consecrate and become a Lamb if you want to live.

Revelation Chapter Twenty One → New Heavens & Earth

Revelation 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea →The restless unbelieving masses of mankind← was no more. 2I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. →The 144000 completed members of the church, after the marriage feast is over.← 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God. 4He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more →Adamic← death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.”

5And the One seated on the throne →Jesus← said, “Behold, I make all things new.” Then He said, “Write this down, for these words are faithful and true.” 6And He told me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. →Jesus← To the one who thirsts I will give freely from the spring of the water of life. 7The one who overcomes →the world, the flesh and the devil← will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.

Revelation 21:8 But to the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death.” →Proverbs 8:36 He that hates me loves death.

The New Jerusalem

Revelation 21:9 Then one of the seven angels →Jesus← with the seven bowls full of the seven final plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” →[In contrast to when he showed John the Harlot Woman in Rev 17…]

Revelation 21:10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the holy city of Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven, 11shining with the glory of God. Its radiance was like a most precious jewel, like a jasper, as clear as crystal. 12The city had a great and high wall with twelve gates inscribed with the names of the twelve tribes of Israel, and twelve angels at the gates. 13There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south, and three on the west. 14The wall of the city had twelve foundations bearing the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

15The angel who spoke with me →Jesus← had a golden measuring rod to measure the city and its gates and walls. →[Similar to measuring the Temple in Rev 11]← 16The city lies foursquare, with its width the same as its length. And he measured the city with the rod, and all its dimensions were equal—12,000 stadia in length and width and height. →[12 Edges X 12,000 each = 144,000]← 17And he measured its wall to be 144 cubits, by the human measure the angel was using.

Revelation 21:18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city itself of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19The foundations of the city walls were adorned with every kind of precious stone:

The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.

Revelation 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, with each gate consisting of a single pearl. →[We all enter through by overcoming trials and tribulations.]← The main street of the city was pure gold, as clear as glass. →When one enters through the gates, our understanding becomes crystal clear.

Revelation 21:22 But I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24By its light the nations will walk, and into it the kings of the earth will bring their glory. 25Its gates will never be shut at the end of the day, because there will be no night there.

Revelation 21:26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who practices an abomination or a lie, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Revelation Chapter Twenty Two → Paradise Restored

Revelation 22:1 Then the angel →Jesus← showed me a river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2down the middle of the main street of the city. On either side of the river stood the trees of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit and yielding a fresh crop for each month →Possibly through Monthly Magazines.← And the leaves of the trees are for the healing of the nations. →If the fruit represents the inner life of Christ, the leaves are the outward effects of that life—causing healing, reconciliation, and the restoration of the nations. Matthew 21:19 Seeing a fig tree by the road, He went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. "May you never bear fruit again!" He said. And immediately the tree withered. Outward professions -leaves- are not enough. We must bear fruit.

Revelation 22:3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be within the city, and His servants will worship Him. 4They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. 5There will be no more night in the city, and they will have no need for the light of a lamp or of the sun. For the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever. →Eden is not merely restored—it is Eden glorified.

Jesus Concluding Thoughts

Revelation 22:6 Then the angel →Jesus← said to me, “These words are faithful and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent His angel →Jesus← to show His servants what must soon take place.” 7“Behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of prophecy in this book.” →Jesus is signing off the same structure that he signed on which is how we know that it was God that sent Jesus, not some unknown angel that Jesus sent to John. Most positively Jesus see verse 20!

Revelation 22:8 And I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel →Jesus← who had shown me these things. 9But he said to me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”

Revelation 22:10 Then he →Jesus← told me, “Do not seal up the words of prophecy in this book, because the time is near. 11Let the unrighteous continue to be unrighteous, and the vile continue to be vile; let the righteous continue to practice righteousness, and the holy continue to be holy.” →The point here is that it is not our job to convert the world. Our job is to testify to the Lord’s goodness and be a good witness on his behalf.

Revelation 22:12 “Behold →Jesus is still speaking← I am coming soon, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one according to what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega →Jesus← the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”

14Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by its gates. 15But outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

16“I, Jesus, have sent My angel →The Apostle John and at least seven other messengers← to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright Morning Star.”

17The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Let the one who hears say, “Come!” And let the one who is thirsty come, and the one who desires the water of life drink freely.

Nothing May Be Added or Removed

18I testify to everyone who hears the words of prophecy in this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. →[When one tries to understand what the plagues of this book are, he is in fact praying for the understanding of those plagues. Once you understand what they mean, you cease to be plagued by them. Then the understanding becomes a blessing.]← 19And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and the holy city, which are described in this book.

20He who testifies to these things →Jesus← says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. →And John who wrote these things is signing off saying:← Come, Lord Jesus! 21The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints.
